Shelf Full of Books

I blog about about the books I read which range from children's books to suspense/thrillers. The books are recently published.

Moon Mail and Star Kisses by Amanda Salisbury

Moon Mail and Star Kisses would be a delightful book to give as a gift to a child who must be separated from a parent for a while for any reason. It teaches the child that though the two are apart, they can look up and see the same moon and the same stars. And if they can do that, then their love can still reach each other no matter where they are in the world, no matter how far apart.

I loved the two page spread illustrations as they depicted the distance between the parent and the child, yet showed that the moon and the stars were shining down on both of them. I think it will make a child feel closer to the parent to be able to look up at the moon and tell his/her mom or dad “I love you”, knowing the parent is doing the same.

I loved the message of this book and the simplicity with which it is told. The pictures are vivid and lovely to look at. I think parents and children will enjoy reading this book together. I gave it 5 stars out of 5.

Thank you to the publishers for providing this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. A positive opinion was not required. All thoughts are my own.
